The Racers were there, but The Hilton winds turned in a no-show, blowing between 4 and 12 mph. Too much famine and not enough feast. Not much to report; my view was from the back....way back, but at least I could tell Devon had it going. Never really challanged, Devon easly won all four races, pretty much playing with the field. There were times when Joe Roth and Dave D got close, but never too close. Cat and mouse.
The Ladies gave it a whirl for the first time this year with Donna D (fewer, not less) finally living up to her X-mas vow of a Fleet of Five (women). 40% there Donna! In truth, Donna could easily beat half the Men's Fleet. Excellent sailor.
Many thanks to the brave sailors who made the drive all the way to shlogsville. Let us hope that The Hilton graces us with normal 10-15 in June!
